About the Item

A very handsome 18th century American trestle table. Perfect for a dinning, work table, desk, hall table, or would also make a great library table to pile your books on. Made completely from pine, the two board top especially old growth. This table is sturdy and full of character. Being made from pine it's extremely lightweight and easy to move. Because it was kept in such dry conditions the table is easily disassembled simply by popping out the pins. The piece which was meant to be easy to transport comes apart into four pieces and can be laid flat or stored. It is quite a Marvel. As modern in feel as old-world in reality. This item is currently on view at the Berkshire galleries of Great Barrington Massachusetts
