Antique 19th Century English Pine Country Farmhouse 8 seat Dining Table 1860

A fabulous antique 19th century monumental Irish pine Country House dining table, circa 1860. This wonderfiul mid 1800s dining table came from the downstairs servant's kitchen of an 18th century stately home in Donegal, Republic of Ireland. The table has the original painted base & raised on six substantial turned legs, to each side are a pair of drawers with bun shaped pulls, the drawers open & close with ease. At each end of of the table base are a pair of carved corbel brackets, the table has the original pine scrubbed top. The table top has a mellow honey colored finish and has just lovingly received a coat of wax polish in Bloomsbury's professional workshops, the table base has the original cream colored paint. The table will comfortably seat 16-18 people, the table has plenty of leg clearance for your tallest guests, this is a rare antique table and had been in the same country estate statley home for over 150 years, think Downton Abbey!
