Description:
Rare antique foosball table from the 1920s - 1930s.
The table is made of solid beech wood, the playing field is made of linoleum.
The iron rods are hollow and telescopic so that they do not protrude from the table on the opposite side.
There are 10 original cork balls. The release of the balls works without coin insertion.
The condition of the table when found was absolutely desolate at first sight. (see photos)
Presumably, the good piece had spent decades in a slumber in a French barn, unloved and forgotten. The players were painted over, the colour suggests a "refurbishment" from the 1980s.
Be that as it may, we were able to uncover and retouch the original paint as far as possible, remove rust from the goals and poles, clean the playing field, stabilise the construction, remove paint from the wood and re-oil it. In short, the foosball table has been restored to its original condition and is once again absolutely playable and suitable for everyday use.
