English Hepplewhite Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Demilune Games Table Circa 1790

About the Item

An English Hepplewhite period inlaid mahogany demilune flip-top games table with a satinwood inlaid and crossbanded top and apron, the interior with a felt lining, supported on square tapered legs headed by paterae. A fine quality example of a late 18th century restrained and elegantly designed table. The top when opened is supported by 2 swing legs. Restored with a French polished finish. Circa 1790.
