German Midcentury Foosball Table

About the Item

German 50s foosball table. Attributable to the manufacturer Leonhart, who has stood for the best quality and innovation in the field of foosball tables since the founding of the family business in 1949. Restored condition. Among other things, the following work was done: Veneer additions, feet dyed black, sanding of the surface, application of a clear varnish, dyeing, reconstruction of the flap, 2 blue and 4 red new original foosball dolls fitted, all foosball dolls fitted with new rubber feet, all rod bumpers replaced, all ball bearings replaced, adjusting rings for the goalie rods replaced, all foosball handles (wood-resin) replaced, new rod end caps fitted. The foosball table no longer has a locking system and a coin slot, so it can be played without restrictions. In addition, the ashtrays have been removed. Delivery includes 20 white foosball balls. Ready to play. Dimensions: 90.5 cm high / 35.5 inch high, 142 cm wide / 55.9 inch wide, 74 cm or 120 cm (incl. rods) deep / 29.1 inch or 47.2 inch (incl. rods) deep.

    A Gothic Revival reliquary. Circa late 19th / early 20th century. Made of solid oak with fine carving. Reliquaries have been used to store relics since the Middle Ages. In sacred architecture they are often located behind the main altar in the chancel. In addition to classical, often church-like caskets, anthropomorphic, so-called "speaking" reliquaries were also made, which already inform the viewer about their contents through their own design. Mostly they were made of precious metals and decorated with rich sculptural ornaments or precious stones. One of the most famous examples of reliquaries is the Epiphany shrine of Nicholas of Verdun from the late 12th or early 13th century in Cologne Cathedral. The reliquary offered here has an architectural structure with a rectangular ground plan. The three-sided glazed box with a dormer roof rests on a plinth.
