This late nineteenth century French Louis Philippe style walnut gueridon or pedestal side table features a 29 inch diameter top. A central turned pillar supports the top and rests on a tripod base. The table top pivots allowing the piece to be placed flat against a wall. An ideal table to place beside a chair, sofa, or bed, circa 1890.
