19th Century, Scandinavian Painted Pine Work Table

About the Item

A Scandinavian antique painted wood galvanized metal top work table with beautifully aged distressed chippy paint patina. Born in the 19th century, hand-crafted of solid pine wood, classic Gustavian taste - simple angular Parsons table form, rectangular patinated galvanized steel top, over single frieze drawer, rising on straight angled legs, the Northern European antique having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a rustic industrial workbench, farmhouse kitchen island, dining room server, wine tasting bar counter, oversized console, or plant potting bench work table placed on a patio or in the garden. Dimensions: (approx) 30" high, 44.5" wide, 25.5" deep Great original antique / vintage condition. Presents well, with nicely aged patina over the whole. Strong, sturdy, stable and structurally sound. Chippy paint losses. Wear consistent with age and use.
