Empire Work Table with Griffin Decoration, Vienna, early 19th Century

About the Item

Rectangular Viennese work table with one drawer and fine bronze fittings. The unusual partly blackened, partly gold-patinated frame features carved griffins above gold-patinated lion heads and paw feet. The table is in a restored and hand-polished condition.
