19th Century Swedish Blue Folk Art Work Table

About the Item

Blue work table in Folk Art from northern Sweden. The table is made circa 1810-1820 in Swedish pine and is painted with the original paint. The blue original paint is marbled on the frame which is unusual. Original authentic patina that's a product of 200 years of use. The table has three drawers in the rim and an extra tabletop on one side. Healthy and solid frame. The extra tabletop has likely never been painted. One gate to the extra top is later and has likely been replaced. There are some minor loss of material on the left drawer – see picture. Original brass knobs on the drawers. Height to rim is 53 and the extra top is 66 cm, making the total length 74+66=140 cm.
