Neoclassical Style Industrial Bronze Bank Lobby Bar Counter
About the Item
Monumental industrial bronze bar height counter measuring nearly 16 feet long. The bar height table crafted in the neoclassical taste was formerly a bank lobby counter with two sets of lights running down the middle. Incredibly heavy and solid with a glass inset top. Each light measures 55 inches long, 7.25 inches deep, and 14 inches high. The lights are removable. the frieze is nearly 4 inches thick and is decorated with dentil molding around the border. The grand table is supported by five pairs of round brass columns with a decorative twist design topped with acanthus in the Greco Roman Corinthian style. The pairs of legs are conjoined by a long stretcher with round-shaped rosettes between each pair. The legs end with shoe feet having bolt holes for securing to the floor. The bronze has a desirable aged patina and grand scale with European artisan craftsmanship. Perfect for a commercial installation.
