About the Item
The beefy butcher block table was born out of necessity due to the need for an every day piece that could handle the almost constant use of meal preparation. From family farms to butchers and seafood stores, these pieces had to be built to last and were made to be nearly indestructible. This fabulous old table is the perfect picture of that function with the beauty of years of use. For added appeal and functionality, a steel base was added with castors to allow ease in moving the beast of wood with very little effort. Whether you are looking for one of these iconic pieces to use as they have always been used or just to enjoy the beauty of its time-worn aesthetic, this handsome guy is just the piece you need.
