Large Brutalist carpenters bench or work table with patina due to age in all the right places. Past History as Mortuary Table Circa 1800's.
This is quite simply one of the most interesting pieces I have ever had in.
This came a private collection. A talking point in any home! It is made entirely of wood and as you can imagine is very heavy. The patina to the wood is superb and gives this table plenty of character to add to its interesting history. Using as substantial console table would be a suitable use for this exceptional piece.
No faults, just character and quality....................
