Vintage French Artisan Workbench
About the Item
A French artisan’s work table from the 19th century made from oak and pine could easily be used as a small kitchen island or sturdy console. This utilitarian antique has a thick top (3 ½”) assembled from three sections of pine–beautifully patinated–that are held together with steel bindings visible on the long sides. Thick block legs in oak support the whole and are stained an opaque chestnut tone. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this workbench is ready for your interior. Please be sure to look at the detailed images to see the current condition.
