Vito SanGirardi Big dining table with brass feet

About the Item

An impressive work table, later adapted to a dining table, designed by architect Vito Sangirardi in 1950 for the Pallante store in Bari, located in Palo del Colle, Italy. This extraordinary piece represents an excellence of mid-century Italian design, characterized by essential aesthetics and craftsmanship of the highest level. The table is made of sturdy, fine mahogany wood, chosen for its durability and the warmth of its grain, while the feet, in laminated brass, add a touch of refinement and luminosity. The functional modularity and impressive geometric lines perfectly reflect the taste and design trends of the time, with clean, well-defined forms that enhance its solidity and elegance. All the furniture in the Pallante store was custom designed by architect Vito Sangirardi, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. This table belongs to a series of furniture characterized by straight, clean lines and an extremely geometric, linear design. The console tables and other furniture in the same collection feature a refined interplay of joints in the wood, a detail that highlights the designer's craftsmanship and innovative vision.Vito Sangirardi's table is a perfect choice for elegantly and soberly furnishing rooms with a vintage or mid-century modern style, whether in a private residence or a professional studio. Thanks to its architectural cleanliness and timeless design, this table is not only a piece of furniture, but also a functional work of art, capable of embellishing any space with a touch of history and class.
