About the Item
These stunning lucite and glass tables were made in the 1990s by manufacturer Les Prismatiques. Shaped like rounded triangles, each table is made of 1.5 inch thick lucite and 3/4 inch thick glass. Very dense and solid construction make these very stable, and their bullnose top edge give them an elegant look. Both tables are prominently signed, but the branded signatures are difficult to photograph.
Each table has normal signs of light use, and original glass has few to no scratches. Overall very good condition. Glass sits at 16 inches tall.
New York based Les Prismatiques was founded by Ralph Gambaro and became known for it's creative approach to design and materials for furniture during the late 20th century. Gambarao introduced lines of furniture in colored acrylic, lucite and other materials. Les Prismatiques furniture remains popular today.
