SET 4 Antique French Drop Leaf Nesting TABLE BARLEY TWIST Folding End Carved Oak.
Direct from France, a fabulous set of antique French barley twist folding/nesting tables! The set includes FOUR separate and complete tables, all solid oak with impressive details!
The largest table has stunning barley twist legs on all sides and a carved band around the serpentine beveled edges of the top. Other features include beaded trim to the apron and slatted sides – a bit of “Arts & Crafts” style!
Underneath the large table top there are wooden runners that hold the three smaller drop leaf tables when they are 'nested' together.
The three drop leaf folding tables are each fancy tables, with all barley twist legs and bobbin stretchers. All three drop leaf tables have beveled edges and open to be the perfect size round table for tea, wine or entertaining! To use the tables, simply flip up the drop leaves and open the gate leg.
YOU’LL LOVE this set as an occasional table, end table, sofa table- the possibilities are endless. Many customers use them as separate tables and don’t even nest them together and others like the stacked look…either way, they are wonderfully versatile for any home! Well made by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.
Measurements: 26.5” ht. x 24” x 21.5” for the largest table. Small tables, opened, 24.5” ht. x 16.25” round. Small tables, folded 24.5” ht. x 16.25” x 5.25” slim.
