A Spectacular Art Deco Blonde Burr Maple H&L Epstein Nest of Tables Circa 1930's
About the Item
Art Deco Blonde Burr Maple nest of 5 tables by H&L Epstein. This is widely considered as the best and most stylish Circular Nesting Tables the brothers produced. This Classic quintetto art deco nest of tables with four curved tables slotting within central table the design is unique to Epstein, this table can be moved to clean underneath it and then it can be simply pushed back into place by anyone because the small table rest on the feet of the main table. A very smart practical design worthy of a gold medal.
Simply the best c1930's blonde wood table with a fluted top.
The large table has a plate glass top present. the table measures 58 cm high x 74 cm diam. Good condition including glass. Small tables measure 50 cm high x 51 cm wide x 28 cm deep

This is a beautiful and original 1930's Art Deco set of five tables in Walnut & birds eye maple by the English and highly regarded furniture makers H & L Epstein. This gorgeous set comprises one large central circular table with four matching sectional tables that are two tiered that fit very snugly underneath. As you can see from the pictures this set is in a very desirable heavily figured book paged Walnut veneers to the top with a beautiful soft tone colouring. Wonderful scalloped flower edging to the main table. In excellent condition having been newly and professionally restored by our professional restorers.
