19th Century Ebonized Pedestal with Eagles & Marble Top


A mahogany and ebonized pedestal originating in France during the first half of the 19th Century. The round black marble top rests above a mahogany frieze surmounted with gilt bronze stars supported by a painted and carved tripod leg base, each leg headed by an eagle and terminating in paw feet.
