About the Item
Pedestal Louis XVI style. Mahogany with gilded bronze mounting in the form of swans on the apron under the plate.
Two legs in mahogany, top with gilded bronze heads.
On each side fluted bronze columns.
Base finished with gilded bronze animal paws.
Top and bottom with marble "Rouge Antique" fine condition.
The photograph of the marble can mislead the eye, it appears without cracks.
France approx. 1900.
