About the Item
Stunning Nineteen-Laties (late 20th Century) Marquis Collection of Beverly Hills tessellated stone display pedestal. This pedestal is a work of art itself with a dynamic zig-zag asymmetric silhouette. The pedestal looks completely different depending on the vantage point. Shift the position of the pedestal to compliment the space and/or the object on display. The stone is exquisite. Look closely to see the fossil-like pattern in the coral stone. Every bit of this pedestal was very intentionally designed. This pedestal is just as beautifully as the sculpture, glass, ceramic, or plants you might display on it. The marker’s label is on the underside of the base.
This listing is for the pedestal alone. The Manuel Carbonell silver sculpture is sold separately.
