Pair of Italian 19th Century Neoclassical St. Pedestals
About the Item
An extremely elegant pair of Italian 19th century neoclassical St. mahogany, ebony, Mecca and white Carrara marble pedestals. Each pedestal is raised by a triangular base with concave sides and fine ball feet. At the center are elegantly curved ebony supports with striking Mecca paw feet and richly carved Mecca swan heads with open wings above. The thick circular top tiers display most decorative mottled designs and each retain their original fitted white Carrara marble tops. All original warm patina throughout.
