A Tapered Square Marble Pillar, 19th Century The square moulded capital of the pillar above a deep neck and a pulvinated astragal, the tapered shaft with a raised panel of conforming shape to the front, descending to a scotia and shallow plinth square break front base, the pillar in alternating peach and pale green marble. Provenance: Private Australian Collection. Dimensions: Height: 119.5cm. Width: 31.5cm. Depth: 28cm.
