About the Item

Antique English Mahogany Canteen Chest on Legs with Flatware Included, Set Circa 1910. Complete Set. This chest and its cutlery were all made by The Alexander Clark Company of Fenchurch Street, London. The company also operated out of Oxford, Birmingham and Sheffield. All of the knives and carving pieces have bone handles and stainless steel blades. The rest of the flatware is made of the company's trademark "Welbeck" silver-plate. The chest pieces are as follows: Top Drawer: 2 Knife Rests 5 Meat Carvers (2 Knives, 2 Forks, 1 Sharpener) 12 Dessert Knives 12 Dessert Forks 6 Butter Knives 12 Dinner Knives Bottom Drawer: 1 Gravy Spoon 2 Sauce Ladles 1 Soup Ladle 6 Egg Spoons 12 Dessert Spoons 12 Soup Spoons 12 Dinner Forks 6 Dinner Spoons
