18th C. Spanish Table with a Wavy X-Stretcher at Underside

About the Item

A Spanish carved-wood occasional table from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain has a rectangular-shaped and beautifully aged wood top, and raised upon a pair of saw-horse style trestle legs. The legs have a clean design, with side stretcher having a carved underside. The x-shaped stretcher bar, which is braced at the underside of the table with a vertically positioned, has a wonderful wavy design. This 18th century Spanish table is approximately 3 feet in width, and would function perfectly as a small writing desk, or perhaps a nice side table with lamp and decorative items displayed on top.
