About the Item

Crafted in Spain circa 1760, this handsome side table is a fine example of 18th century provincial craftsmanship. The table features a thick, single-plank rectangular top with beautifully worn edges and a rich, warm walnut patina developed over centuries of use. The front is fitted with a single drawer, carved in geometric relief and set with its original iron pull ring. Raised on four straight legs joined by side stretchers, the table is both sturdy and elegant, its rustic form enhanced by subtle details such as the shaped apron. The drawer construction reveals early dovetail joinery and hand-hewn boards, testifying to its authentic period origins. Measuring 27.75 inches wide, 18.25 inches deep, and 24 inches high, this antique side table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with a surface richly marked by generations of daily life. Both functional and decorative, it would serve well as an end table, nightstand, or occasional piece, bringing Spanish warmth and character into any setting.
