1980s Michele De Lucchi Side Table
About the Item
Michele De Lucchi Side table from the 1980s.
This rare “side table” was created in the late 1980s by Michele de Lucchi.
Highly architectural, with graphic lines that play with black and white, this piece remains characteristic of Memphis' iconoclastic aesthetic, with its free formal reinterpretation of a classic piece of furniture that seeks to escape the banality of everyday life. Playful, the table can be moved by tilting it with a vertical knob-shaped handle and rolling it on its large-wheeled leg.
This beautiful piece is in good condition, with a micro-scratch on one side of the top and minor signs of use.
