About the Item

A lovely quality freestanding 19th century Chinese three tier occasional table, the rectangular top inset with a rouge marble panel, the hardwood border of the top profusely inlaid with mother of pearl floral patterns, there is also further mother of pearl decorated around all sides of the top, a wonderful carved frieze below consisting of various floral decoration, lovely crisp carving which is of a very high quality, supported on inlaid and carved scroll shouldered legs terminating on claw feet united by two hardwood shelves with lovely figured tops. Circa 1880.
