19th Century Empire France Lyra-Shaped Curly-Legs Side Tables, circa 1815

About the Item

Mahogany on solid wood and partly boned. Round leaf with black-and-white interspersed marble, over simple frame and lyra-shaped curly legs on three-sided retracted base plate and disc feet. This form is extremely rare. Decorative bronze fittings. (G-28).
