This elegant, rare and truly exceptional Viennese Biedermeier single drawer occasional table was made circa 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
This unique Biedermeier side table rests on an exquisitely shaped column and base which represents the highest level of craftsmanship and design.
Even now after 200 years it amazes with its sophisticated shape and modern design.
The piece has a lovely walnut book-matched veneer
accentuated by a light amber tone of french polish finish and gorgeous patina.
The discreetly placed drawer has an original brass hardware.
The table is in very good condition.
