19th Century French Napoleon III Period Faux Bamboo Gilt Wood Side Table, Marble

About the Item

This mid nineteenth century French Napoleon III period faux bamboo gilt wood side table features an octagonal white marble top. A bamboo lattice pattern details the apron. The four legs are joined by a lower X stretcher with a central finial surrounded by supports that form a square and join the stretcher, thus providing additional stability to the piece. c. 1860.
