19th Century French Neoclassical Onyx Top Brass Side Table

About the Item

The elegant and stylish vintage side table was created in France circa 1890. The square tabletop, crafted from richly veined onyx, features warm tones of green, cream, amber, and rust, creating a stunning visual centerpiece. The luxurious polished onyx surface is supported by a reeded brass column. The base of the table features a meticulously detailed rosette design where the column meets the square brass platform. Adding to its character, the base stands on four lions claw feet. The occasional table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt finish. Compact yet striking, this neoclassical side table is versatile enough to serve as a functional accent in a variety of spaces, from traditional living rooms to eclectic reading nooks.
