Round coffee table. In turned wood and marble top, surrounded by a curved edge with a carved frieze below. The legs are curved, gently extending towards the floor and have simple finials.
At the bottom, a circular wooden shelf connects the four legs, acting as a structural and functional element of solid construction, with discreet fittings and internal metal reinforcements for fixing the shelf. The finish is dark, with a moderately glossy varnish, showing marks of time on the surface.
The piece shows influences of the Louis XV style, especially in the curved lines and the light but simple proportions of the structure, indicating that it was probably produced at the beginning of the 20th century.
