About the Item
The Tadao line, created in homage to the famous architect with whom we share a minimalist approach and the creative use of the material, is the perfect synthesis of our philosophy: our study of the structure transforms the material into a stylistic symbol free from its physical weight and perceptions.
Tadao is the result of a long iterative process between structural study and design, accompanied by a painstaking and complex craftsmanship. The nuances and peculiarities of the material make each piece unique with many unreproducible characteristics.
The line is composed of three low console tables of different length and by a high console table. 100% Handcrafted in Italy.
All the items of the Tadao line are made by a single cast of fibre-reinforced concrete over a steel armour. A standard oil and water protective finishing is then applied. Stronger finishing treatments can be applied depending on intended use and customer request.

Forma&Cemento was founded in 2014 by partners with a background in architecture, engineering, yacht building and concrete manufacturing. Our mission is to design and manufacture products in concrete in such a way that the material, traditionally considered poor by comparison will, through skilled craftsmanship, become prized among the choicest marbles and the most sought after woods.
The product range includes furniture and furnishings for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The material itself and the artisanal craftsmanship of each piece make every item unique. Customers can further personalise their item by selecting amongst a wide variety of colours, or even by customising and creating their own piece.
Forma&Cemento creates luxury products easily recognisable by the exclusive treatment of the material and the passionate quest for lightness and style. Artisanal handicraft, the use of modern materials and innovative techniques, together with a production completely “Made in Italy”, further enhances the prestige of Italian design.
