About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite quality circa 1900 Mahogany side table with lion hairy paw feet This piece is part of a large suite, I have in total a pair of occasional chairs, a large triple bank wardrobe with campaign drawers inside, a dressing table, chest of drawers, bedside table and bedstead. This auction is for the piece detailed above only, all other pieces are listed under my other items This suite is all sublime quality, I mean honestly some of the best carving and proportions I have ever seen. The bedside cabinet has elegant cabriolet legs which are hand carved with Lions hairy paw feet to the front and back. Condition wise is perfect for the period, we have lightly cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it will have honest patination to the timber from genuine age Dimensions Height:- 82cm Width:- 40.5cm Depth:- 40.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
