This organic table's aesthetic expresses simplicity, humbleness, and being in tune with nature, whilst appreciating the beauty of age and natural wear and imperfections.
The table can be used on a daily basis as a side or serving table near your sofa or as a night stand but also as a lovely tiny desk in your kids bedroom.
The top consists of two thick walnut boards gently carved and framed by a wood top border with ogee edge - which smartly prevents the objects above from falling- boasting also three small but spacious drawers that follow the lovely rounded line design of the top.
The top sits on four slender turned legs ending with block feet. The legs are joined by turned carved stretcher connecting the legs on both sides and in the central part the latter guarantee a comfortable support for the feet if the table will be used as a writing desk providing households with both a functional as well as pretty accent piece.
The wood shows a fairly light honey color and grain with its original rich patina accentuate this table's depth and character. Very nice natural feel and aesthetic, you can see and feel the authenticity of its origin and creator all through the wood and joinery. Fantastic antique primitive table. This organic table's aesthetic expresses simplicity, humbleness, and being in tune with nature, whilst appreciating the beauty of age and wear.
The table is in overall very good condition for its age, the walnut top with a fantastic grain pattern, small nicks and scratches all signs that time and loving use have left behind. Some wear is present where feet have rested over the many years of use.
