About the Item
Wonderful antique Pembroke table attributed to Gillows Lancaster. Very good quality, with drop leaf top allowing versatility to the piece. The reeded legs with three rings to the top and double reeded beading below the drawer are indicative of with Gillows. Made from very good quality Cuban Mahogany.
Each reeded leg is finished with the original brass caster.
The single drawer to one end runs smoothly, with a dummy drawer to other end.
This piece is not stamped but has the same details as a Gillows table.
In good antique condition, patina all over and distressing to the table top. The flaps lie flat to the frame when not extended. The lopers that hold the table top when extended are very good quality and have a cut out on the loper for ease of use.
