Antique Swedish Side Table Tea Table with Painted Finish
About the Item
The graceful lines of the cabriole legs carry upwards through the attractive scalloped apron on this delightful Swedish side table. As seen in photos, on each side there is a small tray which extends, originally to hold candles. Now, this table may serve as a game table, tea table or any form of side table. The (newer) paint was originally white/gray, but given a finish which creates an aged look. The delicate hand-painted blue flourishes throughout the top, legs, drawer and skirt add a touch of romance. This delightful Swedish side table is a special find. See photos of rear left leg that shows signs of an old crack which has been repaired, so the table is restored, stable and level.
