About the Item
A large and impressive original Art Deco figured walnut occasional side table. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.
It is of outstanding quality and is a very useful size, it is much larger and more gutsy than usual. It has a circular shaped top which has cross banded edges, and there is also rosewood banding around the outer edge. This stands on a chunky base with a fluted central column and an octagonal platform base, giving a very striking effect. The grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
