About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning original circa 1880 Burmese hand carved sewing side table or little chest with lovely peacock design
A very good looking and ornate piece of art furniture, these were made as export pieces in the Victorian era, they are highly collectable and highly decorative, I have never ever seen anything like this top before until I bought this table and it came with one other which is listed under my other items which also has the peacock
The piece has been cleaned waxed and polished from top to bottom, there is some kind of carved stamp inside the top
