The capirucho side table and stool are inspired by a popular yet simple toy enjoyed for many generations by kids in Guatemala. The piece has a playful Silhouette turned with conacaste, and it can be accentuated with colorful bands creating a more fun look that represents the original capirucho toy.
The Capirucho Series is made with Solid Conacaste (Enterolobium cyclocarpum) Also known as Parota wood. Similar to walnut in appearance. Samples can be send to customer upon request.

Labrica
Labrica is a family owned business with a small factory based in Guatemala and a design studio in Oakland Park Florida. Labrica specializes in high end solid wood furniture and accessories. Labrica was an idea that began ten years ago by Lorena Velasquez, Ricardo Velasquez and Lorena Vasquez. This idea became a reality in 2012 Driven by Lorena's Strong business background and Ricardo's design experience. Labrica's Missing link to this adventure was the gifted artisans needed to make the designs a reality. Milpas Altas, a small town near Antigua Guatemala, has a long tradition of wood working and is where most of Labrica's artisans come from.
