Chinese Late Qing Dynasty Side Table with Woven Rattan Top and Horse Hoof Feet

About the Item

A Chinese late qing dynasty period side table from the early 20th century, with natural finish, woven rattan inset and horse hoof feet. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this side table, which originally was conceived as a stool, features a rectangular top with woven rattan insert, sitting above a discreetly carved apron. The table is raised on four straight legs adorned with horse hoof extremities.
