About the Item
Clam Medium in raw fiberglass, part of our ‘unearthed’ collection. Inspired by the beautiful shells of the north, our Clam side table is made of unmasked fibreglass and plays with its natural transparency giving the material life.
With an essentialistic approach we create laboriously crafted furniture and objects by exploring the raw nature of materials and pushing its limits to find balance. We aim to give a soul to this traditionally industrial material.
The material is hand-dyed and slight variations in the colour from piece to piece must be considered a characteristic of the artisanal process. Each piece will have its unique patina. The piece has a waxed finish with a satin gloss. Can be produced with UV-resistant coating, always with a subtle satin gloss.
All our objects are hand layered by skilled craftsmen in Sweden. Each one with personal irregularities told by the hand, the season and the conditions. Therefore each item will vary somewhat in colour and detail.

VAVA Objects
Founded by Elin Aschberg and Esmeralda Vidfar in 2023 as the creative synthesis of their backgrounds in art and design. With an essentialistic approach they create laboriously crafted furniture and objects by exploring the raw nature of materials and pushing its limits to find balance. The objects are hand made by master artisans. Each one with personal irregularities told by the hand, the season and the conditions. This is the beautiful nature of the fibreglass craftsmanship and why it is left raw.
