Among the most iconic products of the Sormani company, these nightstands, designed by Claudio Salocchi in 1962, were conceived under the banner of versatility, in that they can also be used as side tables, or as a side table next to an armchair, or for many other uses.
They are made of wood with small burnished brass handles with an X-shaped base.

Claudio Salocchi
Born in Milan 1934, graduated in Architecture at the Milan Politecnico University. He has been Vice-President of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale), and has taught at the State Professional Institute of Furniture and Furnishings in Lissone and the School of Architecture of Milan Polytechnic. On an international level, Salocchi’s work covers the fields of architecture, interior and industrial design. A great deal of his works and projects were chosen and exhibited through selections or invitations at the most important exhibitions, events or museums, worldwide.
