Custom Side/Drinks Table with European Chopping Block Top & Iron Base
About the Item
This modern-designed side table has been custom fashioned with a European 19th century chopping block top mounted onto a contemporary iron base. This unique and one-of-a-kind piece has been created with an intriguing mix of rustic and modern elements. The top of this table is comprised of a thickly cut 19th century wooden butcher block from Europe, with lovely texture and show of it's history of prior use, which has been supported within a contrasting black iron base. The iron base wraps has an over-all rectangular shape, the vertical legs having cut-outs at the center, creating an open and airy effect. The legs are then braced at their feet with a triangular-shaped, flat, iron base, for support This smaller-sized table, with it's contrast of new and old, would function well as a drinks or side table, working perfectly in both modern or traditional settings as a functional art piece.
