In 1973, furniture maker Ahmet Kos opened his first workshop inside the thriving arts district of Sisli in Istanbul, Turkey. Focused solely on the art of crafting solid wood furniture, the small 1,000 square foot workshop has expanded over the years into a thriving international center for custom crafted furniture and decor with its Istanbul showroom. Continuing the brand’s legacy into the future generation, Sisli Home is now run by Ahmet Kos’ four sons, Hakan, Onder, Erdogan and Serkan – who are focused on their father’s original philosophy of quality and design, while combining it with art and innovation. The state of the art factory is 60,000 square feet and employs 100 craftsman that are creating furniture for residences, hotels, commercial properties and palaces around the globe.
