About the Item
Antique Italian Renaissance Revival carved oak trestle base table, early 19th century.
Great table with dark stained oak and a single lined drawer. It features lots of hand carved details including a sculpted edge rectangular top above a frieze with dentil style border and intricate raised panels. Carved medallions adorn the well-balanced, robust trestle base.
The table is sturdy and has a wonderful, weathered patina achieved through time giving it much warmth, character and individuality.
