Early 20th Century French Louis XV Inlaid Walnut Table with Protective Glass
About the Item
Place this antique writing table in a bedroom or use it as a side table next to a chair or sofa in your living room. Crafted in France, circa 1920, the delicate table stands on cabriole legs embellished with bronze mounts at the shoulders, and ending with bronze sabot feet. The elegant table with a scalloped apron is embellished with inlaid motifs on all four sides. The shaped top decorated with floral motifs is covered with a removable protecting glass top. The table desk with inlaid decor and bronze mounts is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina.
