Early 20th Century Italian Carved Polychrome, Gilt and Painted Figure Side Table
About the Item
This intricate, antique hand-painted pedestal table was made in Italy, circa 1920. The colorful side table with carved and red painted marble top surface, sits on a three-leg foliage carved base decorated with painted flowers and luxurious gold leaf accents; the stem features a young boy figure carrying a tray on his head. The occasional table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated polychrome and painted finish with gilt accents.
