An English Georgian period oak table from the early 19th century, with lift top and turned base. Born in England during the reign of George III, this oak table features a rectangular top that lifts up to reveal a convenient storage space. Carved on all sides on the apron, this floater table is raised on four turned legs with rectangular block joints, connected to one another through plain side stretchers. With its unpretentious lines and oak patina, this Georgian table circa 1800 will bring a touch of simple authenticity to any home.
