English Oak 1840s Side Table with Single Drawer and Ornate Hardware

About the Item

An English oak side table from the Mid-19th Century, with single drawer, brass hardware and straight legs. Created in England during the second quarter of the 19th Century, this oak side table features a rectangular top sitting above a single drawer. This drawer is fitted with ornate hardware and showcases a dovetail construction revealing its age. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs. The sides are plain and the back is, of course, more distressed. The table will therefore benefit from being placed against a wall. With its clean lines and grand simplicity, this English oak side table circa 1840 will make for an excellent choice to decorate any living room, bedroom or hallway.
